Trentham Monkey Forest

Hanley Park

Hanley Park is one of the city's heritage parks. It is close to both the City Centre and the railway station. Its facilities include: an all weather, floodlit sports zone for cricket, football, basketball, hockey and tennis; bandstand; crown green bowling green; fishing; lake and fountains; sensory play area; children's play zone; public art sculptures.



Trentham Gardens

Trentham, one of the most important historic gardens in Britain, is returning to its full glory. Enjoy the calm and colourful surroundings of the Italian Gardens.



Gladstone Pottery Museum

Visit a complete Victorian pottery factory and see traditional skills demonstrated, original workshops, bottle kilns, 'Flushed with Pride' toilet exhibit, Tile Gallery and 1890's Doctor's House. The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery

The museum hosts the world's finest collection of Staffordshire ceramics along with natural and local history galleries. It also incorporates fine art works, art history and archaeology, a caf , shop and theatre. It can also boast a lively programme of events and exhibitions, along with interactive and disabled facilities.



Mitchell Memorial Theatre

The Mitchell Memorial Theatre is the principle venue for the high level of voluntary participation in amateur and youth theatre locally. It incorporates a 380 seat auditorium with proscenium stage, workshop, dressing rooms and refreshment facilities. The local authority administered building is non-profit making and focuses on a mix of amateur organisations drawn from within the community and supported by the general public. A full programme from September to July each year comprises of plays, musicals, pantomines, concerts, scout gang shows, dance displays, ceremonies, drama courses and drama competitions.



New Vic Theatre

The New Vic is the regional producing theatre for Staffordshire. This means that plays are made here, with around ten major productions each year designed, directed, built, promoted and presented in our special theatre-in-the-round.



The Regent Theatre

The Regent is a beautifully restored Art Deco theatre offering a high quality programme of grand opera, national ballet, drama, and west end musicals.



Victoria Hall
